(Single) founder, majority shareholder & CEO of TenPages.com, a crowdfunding platform that would allow aspiring authors to raise funds for publishing their books with established publishing houses. As such, it was considered one of the largest recent innovations in the Dutch book publishing industry. Unfortunately, the business did not generate sufficient revenues to grow sustainably, which led to my taking the decision to terminate operations early 2014.

I was manager of the online marketing and e-commerce team with design, content, programming and marketing professionals, responsible for all company’s websites (albelli.nl, albelli.de, albelli.com, albelli.fr, white label Hema & Tesco) and the online rebranding from Albumprinter to Albelli.

Coordinator of purchasing, initiator of system, database and online improvements to grow revenues (new customers and repeat sales) and reduce cost. In addition to my job, I took the responsibility for the implementation of search and browse system Endeca (0,5 yrs) upon me, and headed the workgroup for e-book strategy (1 yr).
